About
A large SCA Midrealm household mainly within the Barony of the Roaring Wastes area, which fields a sizeable and respected armored unit at the Pennsic War for some years along with archers, fencers, crafters and service-oriented members. The household is based on a Romano-Celtic theme after Sir Forgan's Bio. Darkyard is a member of the larger umbrella fighting unit that incorporates a number of households within the (mainly) Pentamere & other regions of the Midrealm known as Legio Draconis. Their famed battle-cry in the melee field is "Darkyard!", often shouted as the precursor to a dramatic charge. The Household have members from all over the Midrealm/Middle Kingdom but primarily the Barony of the Roaring Wastes (Metro Detroit Area) and the Barony of the Cleftlands (Greater Cleveland).
The household was founded by Forgan Aurelius (KSCA 13 Oct 1990 (A.S. 25) [[1]], Bladewyn, and Justinian in the early 1980s.
