Persona

Kateryn Styllyngflete is an Englishwoman living in 15th century (about 1440s to 1480s) York during the Civil Wars (known now as the Wars of the Roses.) While she tends to lean slightly more Yorkist than Lancastrian (as many of her fellow Northerners do,) what she really wants is an end to all the fighting. If King Harry and Queen Margaret or King Edward and Queen Elizabeth can achieve that, so much the better.

Name Pronunciation

CAT-er-in STILL-ing-fleet. Pronouncing the "Kateryn" as the modern "Katherine" also works for me.

Affiliations

Kateryn is a protege of Baron Gareth Ostwestly.

In Case of Scroll/Court

I prefer scrolls to be in English, either modern or Middle. No faux/"hack" hands please! I love roses (especially white roses, but also I'm fond of yellow and orange roses,) oak leaves and trees, acorns, violets, rue, and genista/broom. I also like deer, especially white stags (for a wee Narnia reference.) I'm a big fan of books of hours, so that could potentially work for inspiration! I also begin each blog post with a manuscript image, so that could potentially be helpful. If your scroll suits my persona, lovely! If not, I'll be happy to receive your lovely handiwork nonetheless!
