Novice Tournament

A Novice Tournament or Tourney is any tournament where competitors are restricted to newer combatants. There is no standard set of rules for what constitutes a Novice, and the exact restriction is up to the marshal in charge of the event.

Some common definitions of 'Novice' include:

• Has been authorized less than two years
• Has never won a Tournament
• Has never received an award for combat

Other than whom is allowed to compete, a Novice tourney can follow the same structure as any other tournament.
