Greave

Armor which covers the lower leg. Greaves are often half-greaves, covering the upper part of the calf and shin, so as to not interfere with boots or feet, which are difficult to armor. The knee is not a legal target in SCA Armoured combat, but is sometimes accidentally struck in combat.
