An heraldic term meaning a circle or ring. Unlike a bezant, an annulet always has an open center.

Anything formed into a ring on a coat of arms is said to be in an annulet, for example the Order of the Dragon's Barb has as its badge a dragon's tail in an annulet; that is the tail of a dragon curled into a circle.
