Candlemas

A Medieval holiday celebrating the mid point between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. February 2nd is the modern calendar date; Candlemas grew into the modern, less-ausipcious, holiday of Groundhog's day.

A popular event theme, there is a large Candlemas Event held yearly in the south Oaken region of the Middle Kingdom in the shire of Dragonsmark.
