Lesser Officers of State

An official responsible for supervising activities throughout the kingdom, but not a member of the Curia Regis.

Membership in this class of officer is somewhat amorphous. Clearly the Kingdom Webminister is a Lesser Officer of State. Just as clearly the regional officers are not. In between are some deputies of the Great Officers of State who have responsibility for some aspect of the whole kingdom but report directly to other officers, not to SCA superiors or the royalty. Such functionaries are often referred to as kingdom officers in a rather vague way.
