Clerk of the Roster

This deputy of the Earl Marshal keeps a database of all combatants in armored and rapier combat. The information comes from the reports of Group Knight Marshals and the Marshal in Charge of each event at which authorizations are held. Equestrians are also listed in a database, as are all types of marshals.

The Clerk of the Roster maintains the Authorization Database and previously issued Authorization Cards, which must be presented to marshals or lists officials before taking part in marshaled activities.
