Chemise

From the French word for shirt, a Chemise is the inner most layer worn through most of the time periods of the SCA. Frequently a simple linen shirt it serves to protect your clothes from your body, extends wear and adds comfort as well keeping itchy wool or seams away from your skin.

Other medieval underwear includes hosen and braes.
