Less desireable than a Primary Source, however good secondary sources can make for great research and documentation.

Examples of Secondary Sources:

  • A painting of a dress (Secondary source for the dress, Primary source for Painting)
  • A period written description of how to do something
  • A photograph of an actual medieval object
