One of the senior staff heralds of the Middle Kingdom. This office is presently held by Akiyama Kazuhiko

Escutcheon is the internal submissions herald for the Middle, in charge of collecting submissions and compiling an Internal Letter of Intent to circulate to heraldic commenters.

One of the so-called shield heralds.
