History
Altenberg, originally a Shire, then a Canton in the Barony of North Woods in the Pentamere Region of the Middle Kingdom.
As of July 2022, the Canton of Altenberg voted to dissolve and be absorbed by the Barony of North Woods

- Arms/Device - Barry wavy argent and azure, an oak tree eradicated within a laurel wreath sable.
Heraldic History
The name Shire of Altenberg was registered in January 1997. The heraldic device was registered at the same time.
