Heraldry History

The name Riding of Hawkland Moor was registered with the SCA College of Heralds in June of 1983.
The heraldic device blazoned "Or, a three-tiered fountain azure within a laurel wreath vert, all within a bordure azure charged with six hawks displayed argent" was registered in May of 1988 and changed/released in September of 1995.
The heraldic device blazoned "Per chevron gules and azure, a hawk Or within a laurel wreath argent." was registered in September of 1995.
