Usually something small which can be worn, a site token is given at the entrance gate (or troll) to an event to those whom have paid the site fee. Site tokens are not required for an event, however they are customary and make a nice souvenier. Often there will be separate or slightly different tokens for those who have paid for the feast.
Some examples of site tokens:
- A colorful bead on a string
- A paper fan
- A pewter pilgram badge
- A decorative ribbon
- A commemorative coin
- A booklet (for example of dance steps or class notes)
