Genevieve known as Evie by her friends grew up on the coast in Saint-Malo. Her father was part of a merchant fleet that had regular dealings with England. Through some of those dealings, a marriage was eventually arranged to Rickard de Als and she moved to England.

Interests and SCA-related hobbies

Evie enjoys spinning on her drop spindle, knitting, dancing, sewing, camping, thrown weapons, and archery.
