Duke/duchess

A Duke or Duchess is someone who has been recognized for successfully completing two or more reigns as the King or Queen of a Kingdom in the SCA.

Sumptuary laws of the Midrealm grant these royal peers the right to wear a gold coronet ornamented with strawberry leaves. Some other Kingdoms do not specify the base coronet color. However, the presence of strawberry leaves on a coronet is used Society wide as an emblem of ducal status.

Dukes and Duchesses are referred to by the title grace as in "...your grace" or "...his/her grace <name>".
