Mundane

A slang term for anything that is modern and non-SCA.

This term is also used specifically to indicate non-SCA participants, as in "we had to yell Hold! when some Mundane walked across the list." Care should be taken to not use this term (in reference to people) at demos or other public events as to not insult potential new members of our organization.

This is sometimes shortened to "Dane" which is generally considered pejoritive in use when referring to non-SCA people.
