Out-of-Period Dance

There are several popular dances done in our Kingdom which are out-of-period but are nonetheless important and a part of our culture.

They include;

• Late Scottish dances
  • Posties Jig
  • Mari's Wedding
• Late English Country dances (frequently progressional dances)
  • Female Sailor
  • Hole in the Wall
• Modern Folk dances
  • Korobushka

Some leaders of the Middle Kingdom dance community actively strive to eliminate these dances from demos and events, however due to the popularity of these dances it is highly unlikely that they will disappear from the standard Middle Kingdom Repertoire.
