Point

Points are a method of attaching something to something else used in costuming and armouring for a good portion of the SCA time period.

Basically a pointing a garment (or piece of armour) involves attaching it to a hole or grommet (called a point) in another garment by use of a lace or cord. A frequent use of pointing is for the attachment of hose to a doublet or, similarly, to attach leg armour to a pourpoint.
