Persona

Claricia is the daughter of a Burgundian spice merchant. After her mother passed, her father took over her schooling and she began accompanying him on his journeys and took on more and more of the organizing of the business. She also began sampling the wares by testing out recipes from various kitchens along the way as their travels took them across Europe and into Rus. One of the Scottish mercenaries her father hired ended up becoming her husband, which opened up new opportunities in Scotland. Her brother died at the battle of Calais, so after her father passed, and her husband died terribly, her son took over the business. Everyone knows that Claricia is the better planner, though, so she keeps her hand in organizing. She is known about town for her charitable work, as well as hosting dinner parties featuring exotic recipes from across their trade routes.

Claricia has served as a chatelaine, revel coordinator, baronial seneschal, event steward, baronial newsletter editor, feast steward, and editor of The Pale. She received her Court Baroncy for serving as Head Retainer for Their Majesties Wigthegn II and Neassa II.
