<p>updated to clarify types of A&amp;S and linked to rubrics.</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>There are several ways to show off your arts and sciences: Crafter Spacers, the Tournament of Arts, the Queen’s Prize Tournament, or Kingdom and Regional Arts &amp; Sciences Fairs. The Arts &amp; Sciences Fairs are rubric based competitions for Artisans to demonstrate application of their research. Only one rubric will be applied to your entry. <br /> <br /> <br /> This is the local starting entry point to the A&amp;S competition system. In the past, only works in the Regional A&amp;S that place 2nd place or better were entitled entry into the [[Kingdom A&amp;S]]. Currently, you do not have to compete in regionals to go to Kingdom. <br /> <br /> Despite the name, entrants do not compete against each other but only against the rubric for the highest score they can achieve through work quality and [[documentation]]. The highest score possible is 30. <br /> <br /> The same stringent Middle Kingdom [[A&amp;S criteria]] is used at regional as kingdom level to help carefully chosen judges decide a fair score based on authenticity, scope, complexity and over all impression. The more authentic the item, the better it will score.<br /> <br /> =A&amp;S Champions=<br /> There are five divisions of the criteria and the entrant with the highest score in that section may be named Champion of that Division for that region.
