== Persona ==

Parzival is a traveling courtier hailing from 14th century Germany. He has traveled far and wide across the land to serve various courts as a minter of coins, exchequer (keeper of financial records), and scholar of numismatics (study of currency, its forms and creation, and commerce). During times of relaxation in the court, he may entertain his fellows with a performance of song, music, juggling, or a demonstration of "mystical card conjuring arts".

He is a trained fencer, and is a student of both Spanish and Italian disciplines. During his travels, he is always sure to take an opportunity to learn something in the ways of both art and combat of the cultures he experiences.

When Parzival took up the position of Provost for the Royal University of Midrealm (RUM) in August of 2024, there were significant gaps in information on the existing credit records, having fallen out of maintenance for the past several years. He completely rebuilt the spreadsheets from the ground up, transitioning from the old manually calculated format to an automated system that would track and update degree progress as soon as an individual's credits were logged. This system can also track a participant's emphasis in the RUM colleges, credits remaining to achieve the next degree, and automatically flags duplicate information for review.

From December of 2023 to April of 2024, Parzival completely rebuilt the website for the Shire of Mynydd Seren after taking up the position of Webminister. In addition to improved visual appeal, the site now has updated officer contacts, a newcomer's guide to the Shire and the SCA, a references section full of information one may need getting started in the SCA (waivers, handbooks, links to relevant Society and Midrealm webpages, etc.), as well as research links for various A&S topics submitted by members of the Shire.
