Oyez! Oyez! (pronounced Oy-yay) is the common shout used at SCA Events meaning "Hey! Pay attention!" 

When you hear "Oyez!", it is polite to stop your conversation or other activity (if able) so that the [[herald]] making the announcement can be heard.
